The purpose of the Financial Systems Modernization (FSM) initiative is to make DHS financial systems more efficient and transparent to benefit the public taxpayer. FSM will eliminate the impacts of incompatible, non-standard, processes and antiquated financial systems. The FSM Cube program continues the FSM initiative for DMO (MGMT), CISA, United States Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Science and Technology Directorate (S&T). The goal is to obtain a financial systems modernization solution with fully integrated financial, procurement, and asset management functions to improve performance, reduce material weaknesses, implement standardized business processes, improve financial operations, data integrity, and financial transparency, and offer a single solution of life-cycle contracting for all acquisitions, and comply with federal laws, regulations, guidelines, and requirements. This program is managed by DHS JPMO.
