This investment funds the operations, maintenance, necessary system enhancements and supporting contracts for the Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug System (MARx). MARx is a mission critical system that serves as the primary interface for plan sponsor organizations and is the source for the enrollment and disenrollment information on the Common Medicare Environment (CME) tables. This investment also includes the Business Operations and Customer Support functions for Medicare Enrollment and Payment Systems (MEPS).
