The Emergency Response Organization (ERO) formally the NCC which includes the Communications- Information Sharing Analysis Center (COMM-ISAC), chartered to facilitate voluntary collaboration and information sharing among its participants; this is information on vulnerabilities, threats, intrusions, and anomalies. ERO analyzes the data collected to avert or mitigate impact upon the telecommunications infrastructure. This data is stored to establish statistics, patterns and a library of historical data. The NCC LAN network provides IT services and support for this proprietary data to all the components of ERO (COMM-ISAC, ESF-2, ESF-14, CAR (Continuity Assessment & Resilience), SHARES HF Radio (SHAred RESources), TIMS (analysts)). The capabilities include Conference Bridging; provide COMM-ISAC Industry representatives Internet connectivity; enable analysis of vulnerabilities, threats, intrusions, and anomalies affecting telecommunications; and LERG/Clones.
