CBP - Counter Measure Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS)

Investment ID: 024-000005291

Overview

Program Title
CBP - Counter Measure Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS)
Description
The purpose of Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Program is to provide U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with a capability to counter cross-border UAS threats. C-UAS technologies will provide the capability to detect, tract, identify and mitigate UAS that illegally cross the border. A combination of fixed, relocatable, and mobile products will be evaluated to determine effectiveness of COTS RF, radar, and other technologies to support a joint CBP Program of Record. The benefits gained by implementing the program are to negate adversary use of UAS to perform nefarious actions such as: conducting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) against CBP targets; transporting illicit materials across U.S. borders; conducting physical attacks against targets in the United States; and conducting attacks on U.S. cyber infrastructure, all of which provide value to the public.
