This is managed by the Risk Management Services Division, Information Resources Office. The purpose is to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidance from OMB, NIST, DHS and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act. It supports the DOI Information Management Technology strategic priorities for cybersecurity. It includes bureau-wide IT security and compliance spending, Security Operations Centers and related spending not contained within mission program budgets. This investment was established in 2019 and is managed by the Information Resources Office (IRO).
