Description
The Recreation and Permit Tracking Online Reporting (RAPTOR) system is a permit and tracking system for special recreation, science, research, and compliance projects within the BLM, which will allow the Bureau to follow projects on the ground and ensure results be applied to management. RAPTOR will also tie together administrative, information and knowledge, and data management activities. RAPTOR will interact with GBP for supporting spatial locality information and creating maps. GIS is directly integrated to permit applications and issuance. RAPTOR was initiated in 2019 and is owned and managed by the Assistant Director National Conservation Lands and Community Partnerships.
