Description
The General Land Office Records Automation System (GLO) is the custodian of the original federal land title records that date back to the late 1700s. These land title records were issued by the General Land Office (GLO) starting soon after the United States became a republic. T GLORAS is a complete document management environment. provide live access to Federal land conveyance records for the Public Land States, including image access to more than eleven million Federal land title records issued between 1788 and the present. GLO also has images of survey plats and field notes, land status records, tract books, and control document index records. GLO was initiated in 1989 and is owned and managed by the State Director of the Eastern States Office within the Bureau of Land Management.
