The Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI) is USAID's central resource for providing technical assistance to more than 90 missions. The mission of DDI is to support the Agency's ability to anticipate and respond to evolving trends, catalyze innovation and provide financing to meet USAID's development and humanitarian goals. DDI IT investments will provide missions with needed technology, help incubate innovation initiatives, and provide related technical support. The IT costs reported represent the collective total of the following DDI offices: Environment, Energy & Infrastructure (EEI), Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GWE), Innovation, Technology, and Research (ETR), Local, Faith & Transformative Partnerships (LFPs), Growth, Education and Environment (previously E3), and the Global Development and Innovation Labs.
