IAPMS is used to assist Bureau/ASIA program managers in the collection and reporting of performance related data as directed by the Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010 (GPRAMA). To gauge program progress, it contains Strategic, supporting, and some operational performance measures; definition templates for measures to support consistency in reporting; and targets for monitoring performance measures and overall program success. Quarterly reporting throughout the fiscal year is an important component of performance management. Detailed quarterly performance reports are compiled for review by IA management and submitted to DOI to profile efforts toward goal attainment for the year which are also utilized in the annual performance planning and budgeting processes and is published in related documents.
