AMBULANCE TRANSPORT SERVICES PROVIDED AT FORT BRAGG, NORTH CAROLINA, SUPPORTING WOMACK ARMY MEDICAL CENTER (WAMC) AND SURROUNDING AREAS. SERVICES INCLUDE 24/7 BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) AND ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (ALS) AMBULANCE TRANSPORT, COVERING BOTH EMERGENCY AND NON-EMERGENCY PATIENT TRANSFERS, SUCH AS ROUTINE TRANSPORT FROM WAMC TO LOCAL HOSPITALS, CARE FOR PATIENTS WITH LOWER EXTREMITY FRACTURES, PSYCHIATRIC PATIENTS, AND THOSE REQUIRING ADVANCED MEDICAL MONITORING. PERSONNEL PERFORMING THESE SERVICES ARE QUALIFIED EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN PARAMEDICS (EMT-P) OPERATING FULLY EQUIPPED TYPE III AMBULANCES, WITH BLS AND ALS AMBULANCES EQUIPPED FOR APPROPRIATE LEVELS OF PATIENT CARE AND MONITORING.
