Government Description
Construction QA inspection services provided within the area of responsibility of the st. Paul district, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The contractor performs quality assurance inspection for projects such as levees, channels, drainage structures, fish passages, hydraulic gate installation and testing, stone placement, bank stabilization, parking lots, concrete and bituminous roads, water control structures, and pump station and building construction. Tasks include reading plans and specifications, monitoring, documenting, and reporting on contractor quality control activities, safety, submittal tracking and review, and communicating with responsible government personnel. All monitoring and observation are documented electronically using the Resident Management System Government Mode (RMS GM).
