THIS CONTRACT ENCOMPASSES MAINTENANCE DREDGING TASKS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SOUTH ATLANTIC DIVISION (SAD), INCLUDING MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION OF DREDGING EQUIPMENT, EXCAVATION OF SEDIMENT FROM NAVIGATIONAL CHANNELS, DISPOSAL OF DREDGED MATERIAL AT DESIGNATED SITES, AND ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS. ADDITIONAL RELATED SERVICES NECESSARY FOR EFFECTIVE DREDGING OPERATIONS MAY ALSO BE PERFORMED.
