Government Description
THE METASYS IV SATOC IS A PROPRIETARY BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM TO MONITOR THE MECHANICAL, SECURITY, FIRE, FLOOD, LIGHTING, HEATING, AIR CONDITIONING, AND VENTILATION LOCATED WITHIN GOVERNMENT FACILITIES. THE CONTRACT PROVIDES FOR THE PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION (P&I), AS WELL AS MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE (M&S), OF UTILITY MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEMS (UMCS), HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) SYSTEMS—INCLUDING INSTALLATION AND INTEGRATION OF CHILLER/BOILER SYSTEMS—SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION (SCADA) SYSTEMS, AND OTHER AUTOMATED CONTROL SYSTEMS. ADDITIONAL WORK INCLUDES FIRE ALARM SAFETY (FAS) SYSTEMS FOR LIFE SAFETY, CONTAMINANT DETECTION AND FILTRATION, UTILITIES METERING, AND ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS (ESS) FOR SECURITY AND FORCE PROTECTION MEASURES SUCH AS BARRIERS, FENCING, GATES, WINDOW TREATMENTS, HARDENING, AND LIGHTING.
