Government Description
UTILITY MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEMS-APOGEE PROVIDES PROPRIETARY DESIGO/APOGEE® BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM (BAS) SOLUTIONS IN SUPPORT OF THE UTILITY MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEMS (UMCS) PROGRAM. WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES PROCUREMENT, INSTALLATION, EXPANSION, UPGRADES, MAINTENANCE, AND SERVICE OF BAS AND RELATED AUTOMATED CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEMS SUCH AS HVAC, SCADA, FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS (FAS), LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS (LSS), ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS (ESS), DIRECT DIGITAL CONTROL (DDC) SYSTEMS, AND CHILLER/BOILER SYSTEMS. TASKS INCLUDE INTEGRATION OF UTILITY MONITORING AND CONTROLS, REPAIR AND UPGRADE OF HVAC AND DDC SYSTEMS, REPLACEMENT OF OBSOLETE CONTROLS HARDWARE, TRANSITION OF COMMUNICATION NETWORKS, AND TECHNICAL UTILITY SERVICE FOR GOVERNMENT FACILITIES. THESE SERVICES PROVIDED AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS INCLUDING THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, U.S. TERRITORIES, AND SELECT OVERSEAS SITES WHERE DESIGO/APOGEE® BAS ARE INSTALLED.
