Government Description
IDIQ contract for the purchase of caustic soda for the Washington aqueduct. The contract provides sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) – 25% for use in water treatment operations at the Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD) in Washington, dc, which supplies potable water to approximately one million people in the district of columbia and northern Virginia. Caustic soda is delivered to the dalecarlia water treatment plant and mcmillan water treatment plant as part of the water treatment and supply system.
