Railroad repair at Fort Campbell, KY. Includes maintenance and repair of the Fort Campbell railroad system, such as selective replacement of track sections or individual pieces, vegetation control on and within the track right-of-way, ballast repair, and maintenance of track components including switches, signals, crossings, signage, and turnouts. Additional tasks involve general track improvements (surfacing, aligning, tie replacements), maintenance of on- and off-post railroad, inspection and repair of Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) with hi-rail system in accordance with 49 cfr 214.523, emergency railroad maintenance and repair, storm debris removal, railroad inspections, and installation of elastomeric crossing panels and concrete repairs at crossings and bridges.
