Government Description
Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for foundation pressure relief well engineering with geophysical surveying for the great lakes and Ohio river divisions. Work performed includes design, studies, geophysical surveys, sampling, testing, permit procurement, and related activities for relief wells, extraction wells, and monitoring wells, including installation, rehabilitation, maintenance, abandonment, and comprehensive site assessments for dam and levee projects. Tasks also include cleaning and post-cleaning video inspection, sediment removal, external review of relief wells, maintenance and assessment of foundation drains, rehabilitation of uplift cells, installation of relief wells and collection systems, and contaminated soil and groundwater cleanup related to wells. Environmental studies, geochemical and biological analysis, computer modeling, and geophysical surveying methods such as ground penetrating radar, seismic techniques, and remote sensing are also performed.
