Government Description
Advanced Contract Initiative (ACI) for Temporary Emergency Power (TEP) quadrant IV provides contract service support for temporary emergency power in response to natural and man-made disasters in the United States and its territories. Includes assessing power requirements, installing, fueling, operating, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered emergency generators (5 KW TO 3MW) at critical public facilities such as hospitals, water infrastructure, and shelters. The contractor supports FEMA during disaster declarations and must mobilize resources, personnel, and equipment within 21-24 hours of a task order. Activities under this contract have included generator set activities and readiness support for tropical disturbances, wildfires, and annual regional power mission exercises in locations such as Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and California.
