Government Description
FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING & SUPPORT IS PROVIDED FOR THE DEFENSE LANGUAGE INSTITUTE FOREIGN LANGUAGE CENTER (DLIFLC) THROUGH DLI-WASHINGTON UNDER THE CONTRACT FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING PROGRAM (CFLTP). THE CONTRACTOR DELIVERS FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR A STUDENT BODY PRIMARILY COMPOSED OF NON-COMMISSIONED AND COMMISSIONED OFFICERS, WITH COURSES RANGING FROM 10 TO 64 WEEKS AND AN ANNUAL STUDENT LOAD OF 400-500. INSTRUCTION INCLUDES RESIDENT CLASSROOM TRAINING IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (NCR) AND NON-RESIDENT INSTRUCTION VIA MOBILE TRAINING TEAMS (MTT) AT U.S. GOVERNMENT FACILITIES OR OVERSEAS, AS WELL AS CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, PROFICIENCY-ORIENTED METHODOLOGIES, AND MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORTING. QUALITY CONTROL IS MAINTAINED THROUGH A QUALITY CONTROL PLAN (QCP) TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS OUTLINED IN THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS).
