Government Description
FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND TRAINING SUPPORT IS PROVIDED FOR THE DEFENSE LANGUAGE INSTITUTE FOREIGN LANGUAGE CENTER (DLIFLC) THROUGH DLI-WASHINGTON. UNDER THE CONTRACT FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING PROGRAM (CFLTP), THE CONTRACTOR DELIVERS FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO A STUDENT BODY PRIMARILY COMPOSED OF NON-COMMISSIONED AND COMMISSIONED OFFICERS, WITH RESIDENT INSTRUCTION FOR 200-400 STUDENTS AT ANY GIVEN TIME AND 400-500 ANNUALLY IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (NCR). THE CONTRACTOR ALSO SUPPORTS NON-RESIDENT INSTRUCTION VIA MOBILE TRAINING TEAMS (MTT) AT U.S. GOVERNMENT FACILITIES AND OVERSEAS, DEVELOPS ASSESSMENT TOOLS AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS, EMPLOYS PROFICIENCY-ORIENTED METHODOLOGIES TAILORED TO ADULT LEARNERS, AND IMPLEMENTS A QUALITY CONTROL PLAN (QCP) WITH MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORTING.
