Government Description
CCRS and ccaw production. This award is for the manufacture of modular lightweight load-carrying equipment (MOLLE) Close Combat Rifleman SETS (CCRS) and Close Combat Automatic Weapon SETS (CCAWS) in support of product manager soldier clothing and individual equipment (PDM-SCIE). The contractor will produce an estimated total quantity of 111,528 CCRS and 13,344 CCAWS, including ten percent spares of individual components, with items made to military specification CO-PD-02-02. All materials used for production of the close combat MOLLE equipment shall be safe and suitable for their intended purpose and pose no health hazards to soldiers.
