Government Description
ONE SEMI-AUTOMATED FORCES (ONESAF) IS A SOFTWARE THAT SUPPORTS MODELING AND SIMULATION OF FORCE MODERNIZATION AND TRANSFORMATION FROM WEAPON SYSTEMS TO BRIGADE AND BELOW LEVEL COMBAT. THE WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, INTEGRATION, TESTING, ENGINEERING RELEASES, ANNUAL RELEASES, AND MAINTENANCE, ALONG WITH TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND TRAINING FOR THE ONESAF USER COMMUNITY. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF LAB EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE REFRESH, LICENSING, UPDATES, AND DATA MIGRATION, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THEIR TEAM. ADDITIONAL TASKS INCLUDE DEVELOPMENT, TEST, INTEGRATION, INTEROPERABILITY, SUPPORT, AND DELIVERY OF SOFTWARE, DATA, AND DOCUMENTATION PRODUCTS FOR U.S. ARMY MODELING AND SIMULATION COMMUNITIES SUCH AS ACQUISITION, ANALYSIS, EXPERIMENTATION, AND INTELLIGENCE.
