Overview
Government Description
The objective of this contract is to provide support services for biomedical research application evaluation and support. Includes management of the Biomedical Research Application Evaluation And Support (BRAES) program sponsored by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) and U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC), encompassing electronic receipt of intramural and extramural research applications, application compliance, scientific peer review, and maintenance and enhancement of the government-owned, contractor-operated Electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal (EBRAP). The contract supports a wide range of research programs, including but not limited to autism, alzheimer's, cancer, traumatic brain injury, military health, rare diseases, and peer review services for numerous congressionally directed medical research programs. Services also include scientific and technical peer review, programmatic support, and science administration and management for various biomedical research initiatives.
