Government Description
USMEPCOM - fee basis providers support services provides Fee Basis Provider (FBP) services to the United States military entrance processing command (USMEPCOM) to medically qualify applicants for military service. The fbps deliver medical prescreening and examinations at 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) and one remote processing station in accordance with DOD accession medical standards DHA PM 6025.13 vol 4 and USMEPCOM regulations 40-1 and 40-2. Providers include qualified medical doctors, doctors of osteopathy, physician assistants, and certified nurse practitioners, all with expertise in military medical qualification requirements. Level 4 physicians must be privileged or approved by the USMEPCOM command surgeon/J7/medical director.
