Government Description
High Mobility Engineering Excavator Service Life Extension Program & Modernization (HMEE-SLEP) provides service life extension and modernization for hmee-i vehicles. Includes performing a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) on approximately 45 government furnished hmee-i vehicles, converting hmee-i vehicles to a hmee-iv Electric-Over-Hydraulic (EOH) configuration, and extending the service life of Crew Protection Kits (CPK). The SLEP effort consists of a core effort performed on each vehicle and an additional work effort for repairs unique to each vehicle, with the overall goal of returning vehicles to a zero hours/zero miles condition.
