Government Description
Technical and engineering services support for combat capabilities development command ground vehicle systems center (DEVCOM gvsc) across 31 labor categories. Includes providing electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering support and services for a variety of programs, including system integration, technology assessment, software testing, vehicle model development, crew station design, network integration for C5ISR systems, program management, and systems integration lab support. Additional tasks encompass integration of gig and nr-kpp into mrap C5 systems, training and maintenance of pre-fielding and fielding systems, support for soldier machine interface technologies, ground vehicle robotics and autonomous vehicle development, electrical power systems, and support for platforms such as M1 abrams, stryker, bradley M2A2/M3A3, ampv, erca, rcv, omfv, cover, amic, aml, and Army watercraft. The effort includes technical and engineering services for DEVCOM gvsc laboratories, the ground vehicle robotics group, the software engineering center, Ground Vehicle Survivability And Protection (GVSP) directorate, assorted gvsc directorates, and support for DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center (CBC) and its PEO and PM customers.
