Government Description
THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO PROCURE RESERVE HEALTH READINESS SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY. THE WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES PROVIDING MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES, MEDICAL STAFFING SUPPORT FOR PRE-DEPLOYMENT HEALTH ASSESSMENTS, SEPARATION HISTORY AND PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS, AND DEPLOYMENT-RELATED HEALTH ASSESSMENTS. SERVICES ARE DELIVERED IN SUPPORT OF VARIOUS SERVICE COMPONENTS, INCLUDING ACTIVE COMPONENT ARMY, MARINES, NAVY, AIR FORCE RESERVE COMMAND, AIR NATIONAL GUARD, ARMY NATIONAL GUARD, MARINE FORCE RESERVE, U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, U.S. NAVY RESERVE, U.S. ARMY RESERVE, AND U.S. COAST GUARD, AS WELL AS TRICARE PRIME REMOTE BENEFICIARIES. THE CONTRACT ALSO SUPPORTS POST-DEPLOYMENT HEALTH REASSESSMENT AND PERIODIC HEALTH ASSESSMENTS FOR THESE MILITARY POPULATIONS.
