Government Description
THIS CONTRACT IS FOR PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE: COMMAND, CONTROL AND COMMUNICATIONS-TACTICAL (PEO C3T) PROJECT MANAGER TACTICAL RADIOS (PM-TR)/ PRODUCT MANAGER HANDHELD, MANPACK, AND SMALL FORM FIT (PDM-HMS). THE REQUIREMENT IS TO PROCURE AND SUSTAIN HANDHELD AND VEHICULAR MOUNTED VARIANTS OF THE RIFLEMAN RADIO. THE RIFLEMAN RADIO SET CONSISTS OF A RECEIVER/TRANSMITTER (R/T) AND THE FOLLOWING ACCESSORIES: RECHARGEABLE BATTERY(IES) (NUMBER OF BATTERIES REQUIRED TO OPERATE THE RADIO FOR 24 HOUR MISSION), ANTENNA(S), HOLSTER, EXTERNAL SPEAKER/MICROPHONE, TALK GROUP SELECTOR CAPABILITY, AND EARBUD. THE MOUNTED RIFLEMAN RADIO SET IS THE RIFLEMAN RADIO SET COMBINED WITH THE VEHICLE ADAPTER AND AMPLIFIER (VAA) SET. THE VAA SET INCLUDES THE VAA, VEHICLE INSTALLATION KIT AND VEHICLE MOUNT. ANCILLARY ITEMS CONSIST OF BATTERY CHARGER, NETT WARRIOR DATA ADAPTER, CABLES, AND OTHER HARDWARE THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RIFLEMAN RADIO SET, BUT ARE REQUIRED TO OPERATE THE RADIO SET IN VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS. SUSTAINMENT INCLUDES: WARRANTIES RADIO (5, 8&10 YEAR), CHARGERS (1 YEAR); RIFLEMAN RADIO UNIT REPAIRS; FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES (FSRS); COMMERCIAL AND NON-COMMERCIAL SOURCE CODE; AND THE SUBMISSION OF A PUBLIC / PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP (P3) PLAN AND SOFTWARE TRANSITION PLAN.
