Government Description
V-22 engineering and logistics sustainment support provides engineering and logistics sustainment services for the V-22 platform. The contractor is responsible for tasks including demand forecasting, inventory management, warehousing, supply chain engineering support, training, material support and availability, process improvements, and field service representative support. The work also requires addressing challenges such as outdated drawings, obsolete materials, and diminished vendor bases to ensure supply chain performance based on material availability and order response time for approximately 5,541 niins. Flexibility to add more items is necessary as requirements dictate.

Nov 2023: The Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, California, Maryland, has been awarded a maximum $41,217,704 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for V-22 platform engineering and logistics sustainment support. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. This is a one-year base contract with four one-year option periods. Locations of performance are Texas and Pennsylvania, with a Nov. 30, 2024, performance completion date. Using customers are Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Japanese Ground Self Defense Force. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2024 through 2025 operations and maintenance funds from Air Force, Special Operations Command, Navy, and Foreign Military Sales funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPRPA1-24-D-9001).
