Supports the night vision program acquiring the white phosphorous tubes. It involves the procurement of MX-12607 white phosphorous image intensifier assemblies (NSN: 5855-01-692-2002, P/N A3314408-2), which are used to support the an/AVS-6 Aviator’s Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS), enabling aviators to conduct flight operations under very low ambient light conditions. The was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 3204 (a)(1), as stated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. This is a five-year contract with no option periods.
