Government Description
Multiple nsns for the Combat Service Support (CSS) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) Transmission System, Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Terminals an/Tsc-183A (CSS-VSAT). Includes procurement of Army-managed spare components and repair of items supporting the CSS-VSAT an/TSC-183A, including test/inspection, minor and major repair, overhaul, and reset services. Training is provided for tobyhanna Army depot (TYAD) field service representatives (FSRS) and cecom logistics assistance representatives (LARS) on maintenance and troubleshooting of CSS-VSAT terminals to maintain the fleet worldwide. The only approved source is L3HARRIS technologies inc., the original equipment manufacturer.

L3Harris Technologies Inc., Rochester, New York, has been awarded a maximum $125,126,223 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity for spares and repair parts for very small aperture terminal transmission systems. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 3204 (a)(1), as stated in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. This is a five-year contract with no option periods. The performance completion date is Sept. 24, 2028. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2023 through 2028 Army working capital funds.
