Government Description
4610127327 the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) land and maritime is soliciting for an Industrial Product – Support Vendor (IPV) program successor initiative to provide continued integrated product support for line-side delivery of bench stock requirements for maintenance and production lines at Red River Army Depot (RRAD). The contract encompasses logistics support and total Supply Chain Management (SCM) for bench stock items required for Maintenance, Repair, And Overhaul (MRO) of military weapons systems or related equipment, including inventory management, parts acquisition, warehousing, material issue, physical inventory control, distribution, bin management, forecasting, obsolescence management, kitting, quality assurance, and dedicated customer service representatives. The contractor will utilize innovative methods and best commercial practices, supported by Information Technology Systems (ITS) that interface with government systems, to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery and management of bench stock items at or near the point of use. The magnitude of support will flex with RRAD's maintenance line activities, requiring seamless and uninterrupted service as requirements change.
