Government Description
Gas oil, marine is provided to US ships and vessels at various port locations under the DLA energy ships and bunkers 1.3C SOUTHCOM program. The contract requires delivery of Marine Gas Oil (MGO) fuel that meets all applicable specifications and complies with federal, state, local, and international environmental regulations, including marpol 73/78 annex VI regulations 14 and 18. The supplier must provide a statutory sample of at least 400 milliliters from the receiving vessel’s inlet bunker manifold, sealed and tagged per marpol 73/78 annex VI regulation 18, along with a Bunker Delivery Note (BDN).
