Meal, cold weather provides freeze-dried, vacuum-packed rations designed for cold weather feeding that will not freeze and include extra drink mixes to counter dehydration during cold weather activities. The mcw ration is intended to be issued at three per day for a complete cold weather ration and supports military personnel in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Specifications for the mcw and its component items are available through the Defense Logistics Agency troop support operational rations program.
