Government Description
Resource and survey analysis services. This effort provides technical, environmental, and encroachment services for ongoing and new projects on naval air systems command (NAVAIR) ranges, including encroachment analysis, maintenance of geographic information systems databases, and various surveys and studies of terrestrial, aquatic/marine, and riparian vegetation, as well as vertebrate and invertebrate species. Additional work includes analysis of historic, archaeological, anthropological, and paleontological resources; geophysical and geochemical surveys of water resources; land use management studies; preparation of land and resource management plans; environmental impact analysis and documentation; hazardous waste management; and unexploded ordnance identification and tracking in support of the nawcwd range sustainability program.
