WR Systems Ltd., Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded an $18,486,771 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee with provisions for firm-fixed-price task orders, performance-based contract. The contract is for the procurement of navigation systems in-service engineering services. The services required include design development, systems integration, acquisition and prototype engineering, technical documentation, and integrated logistic support in order to support the Navigation Geospatial Information and Services Integrated Product Team. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value (ceiling) of this contract to an estimated $97,514,736. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by December 2016. If all options are exercised, work could continue until December 2020. Fiscal 2016 other procurement (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $25,000 will be obligated at the time of award as the minimum guarantee; these funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
