Government Description
Propulsor repair for group S. Includes on-site repair services for submarine propellers and propulsors at various naval shipyards and storage facilities, both CONUS and OCONUS, to address cracks and other defects identified during periodic inspections. Personnel must be qualified through NAVSEA inspection courses, certified in welding nickel aluminum bronze, inconel, and HY-80, and capable of performing abrasive blasting, coatings spray application, and operating plural component equipment per sspc standards. The facility must also maintain a quality management system in accordance with asq/ansi/ISO 9001:2015 and meet specific security and ultrasonic testing requirements.
