Government Description
Diego garcia Base Operations Support (BOS) services provides comprehensive base operations support at U.S. Navy Support Facility (NSF), diego garcia, british indian ocean territory. Includes general management and administration; information technology and telecommunications; fire and emergency services; airfield and port operations; supply and petroleum, oil and lubricant management; retail and morale, welfare, and recreation services; galley and unaccompanied housing; facility management, investment, custodial, pest control, integrated solid waste management, grounds maintenance, and pavement clearance; electrical, compressed gases, wastewater, steam, hot water, demineralized water, and potable water utilities; base support vehicles and equipment; and environmental services. Tasks performed under this contract also include repairs and upgrades to utilities and facilities, maintenance and overhaul of power plant engines and HVAC systems, waste segregation and hauling, support for visiting vessels and aircraft, humanitarian assistance, and specialized support for projects and missions such as pacaf and nrl. Additional work includes demolition, construction, installation of communications and security systems, and support for housing and infrastructure projects across the installation.
