Government Description
INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AND PAVEMENT CLEARANCE SERVICES FOR NAVAL BASE GUAM, OTHER U.S. MILITARY ACTIVITIES, OR DOD/FEDERAL AGENCIES AT VARIOUS ACTIVITIES/LOCATIONS IN GUAM. WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES LANDFILL MANAGEMENT, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS, WASTE STERILIZATION, REFUSE COLLECTION, DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING, AND PAVEMENT CLEARANCE (SWEEPING) SUCH AS REMOVAL OF SAND, AGGREGATES, VEGETATION, GRASS, METALS, AND OTHER FOREIGN MATTER FROM PAVED ROADWAYS AND PARKING LOTS. ADDITIONAL TASKS INCLUDE RECURRING AND NON-RECURRING INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AND PAVEMENT CLEARANCE SERVICES AT SPECIFIC FACILITIES SUCH AS MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BLAZ (MCBCB), ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE (AAFB) FAMILY HOUSING, U.S. ARMY TASK FORCE TALON, AND SUPPORT FOR EXERCISES AND RECOVERY EFFORTS (E.G., TYPHOON BOLAVEN AND TYPHOON MAWAR), AS WELL AS PROVISION AND SERVICING OF MIXED LOAD BINS, RECYCLING PICKUPS, AND LANDFILL SCALE REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT NAVAL BASE GUAM AND TENANT ACTIVITIES.
