Government Description
PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, SUPERVISION, AND OTHER ITEMS NECESSARY TO PERFORM REGIONAL FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS IN NAVFAC MID-ATLANTIC FOR THE HAMPTON ROADS AREA OF VIRGINIA. INCLUDES MAINTENANCE AND SERVICES FOR FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS, FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS, AND FIRE PUMPS AT NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD AND ANNEXES IN PORTSMOUTH, NAVAL STATION NORFOLK AND SURROUNDING SITES, AND NAVAL AIR STATION OCEANA AND SURROUNDING SITES IN VIRGINIA BEACH. PERSONNEL MUST HAVE APPROPRIATE NICET CERTIFICATION, AND WATER-BASED SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS REPAIR WORK REQUIRES LICENSED PLUMBERS OR PIPE FITTERS WITH NICET CERTIFICATION. SERVICES INCLUDE INSPECTION, REPAIR, AND MANAGEMENT OF FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS, WITH THE ABILITY TO RESPOND TO SERVICE CALLS AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY.
