Government Description
CLIN 0001- base year roofing IDIQ. This contract provides for roofing repair and replacement services at various government sites in the greater hampton roads area of Virginia, including locating and isolating roof leakage points and water infiltration, removal, repair, and replacement of various roofing systems such as pvc, epdm, modified bitumen, asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, transite panels, and rolled roofing. Work includes limited demolition and replacement of underlayment, vapor barriers, insulation, decking, roof accessories (flashing, gravel stops, drip edges, gutters, downspouts), application of liquid-applied coatings, repair of joints and re-caulking, as well as incidental repair or replacement of siding, copings, and fascias associated with roof work. Task orders have included slate, shingle, and metal roof replacements, roof recoating, gutter cleaning and repair, installation of guardrails and roof access ladders, repair of roof drains and fascia, and installation of rain diverters and collectors.

TST Tactical Defense Solutions, Inc., doing business as Tidewater Development Services, * Virginia Beach, Virginia, is awarded a $39,771,508 firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for roofing repair or replacement at various government sites in the Greater Hampton Roads area of operations. The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to, locating and isolating roof leakage points and water infiltration, removal, repair and replacement of roofing systems. The maximum dollar value, including the base period and all option periods, is $39,771,508. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Oceana, Little Creek, and Yorktown, Virginia. The term of the contract is not-to-exceed 60 months with an expected completion date of September 2027. A task order is awarded in the amount of $5,000 to fulfill the minimum guarantee. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Future task orders will be primarily funded by operation and maintenance (Navy) funds. This contract was competitively procured via the System for Award Management website, with three proposals received.
