Government Description
A-e IDIQ multi-discipline contract for projects primarily in the mc aor. The contract provides architect-engineer services for multi-discipline engineering projects at Navy and other government facilities within the NAVFAC mid-atlantic Marine Corps area of responsibility, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and other areas. Work performed includes design and engineering for facility repairs, renovations, new construction, HVAC repairs, roof replacements, elevator overhauls, secure area construction, machining facility construction, library construction, restroom renovations, and upgrades to various buildings and infrastructure.

MBF Architects, PA,* New Bern, North Carolina, is awarded a maximum-value $60,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity architect-engineering contract for architect-engineer services for multi-discipline engineering services in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic Marine Corps area of responsibility (AOR). Task order 0001 is awarded at $1,575,346 for design and engineering services for P-1550, Special Operations Forces Marine Battalion Company/Team Facilities at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene, North Carolina. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by September 2024. Work on this contract will primarily be performed at various Navy facilities and other government facilities within the NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic AOR including, but not limited to, North Carolina (50%); South Carolina (30%); Georgia (15%); and other areas within the AOR (5%), and is expected to be completed by January 2027. Fiscal 2021 military construction (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $1,575,346 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Future task orders will be primarily funded by military construction (Marine Corps). This contract was competitively procured via the beta.sam.gov website, with 25 proposals received.
