Government Description
Nrde mech/HVAC IDIQ JOC award - nrl/card. This Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract provides mechanical and HVAC construction, repair, and renovation services—including general purpose plumbing, sound and vibration control, ventilation and exhaust systems, plumbing and piping for HVAC, testing/adjusting/balancing, insulation, instrumentation and control, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers—at naval research laboratory (Washington, dc), naval warfare center carderock, MD, and other NAVFAC Washington locations. Work performed under this contract includes replacing and repairing chillers, boilers, HVAC systems, condensate and steam lines, fire panels, generator switchgear, and associated mechanical infrastructure, as well as providing temporary HVAC solutions, sewer pipe replacement, and refurbishment of usss booths and gates. Additional tasks include air ventilation scrubbing, balancing valve replacement, insulation replacement, glycol leak repair, hydro jetting, and repairs to power boxes, led fixtures, and fire pumps.

Capital Brand Group LLC,* Bethesda, Maryland, is awarded a maximum-value $50,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for design-bid-build mechanical and HVAC construction and repair tasks in support of Naval Research and Development Establishment commands at National Capital Region sites. An initial task order (N4008022F4167) is being awarded at $2,000 to meet the minimum guarantee for the contract. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; Maryland; and Virginia, and is expected to be completed by January 2027. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,000 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
