Government Description
LOW ENERGY X-RAY SYSTEM SERVICE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR. IN ADDITION, THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE ON-SITE TRAINING COURSES AT NSWC IHD, INDIAN HEAD/STUMP NECK, MD, COVERING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF EXPLOSIVES, PROPELLANTS AND COMBUSTION, AND WARHEAD MECHANICS. THE TRAINING INCLUDES INSTRUCTION ON CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, ENGINEERING ASPECTS, SAFETY PROTOCOLS, AND APPLICATIONS OF EXPLOSIVES AND WARHEADS, WITH LEARNING MATERIALS SUPPLIED FOR PARTICIPANTS.
