BASE BOA AWARD. THE WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES THE PRODUCTION AND PROCUREMENT OF MK88 MOD4 GUN MOUNTS (GM), ASSOCIATED HARDWARE, AND SPARES FOR THE NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, INDIAN HEAD DIVISION (NSWC IHD). MSI-DEFENCE SYSTEMS US LLC IS THE SOLE QUALIFIED VENDOR AS THE ORIGINAL DESIGNER, DEVELOPER, AND MANUFACTURER OF THE MK88 MACHINE GUN SYSTEM (MGS), WHICH HAS BEEN TESTED AND INSTALLED ON VARIOUS U.S. NAVY AND COAST GUARD PLATFORMS.

BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P., Minneapolis, Minnesota, is awarded a $12,967,143 firm-fixed-price delivery order against previously awarded basic ordering agreement N00174-23-G-0001, for the procurement of 39 MK38 MOD3 conversion kits. Work will be performed in Haifa, Israel (70%); and Louisville, Kentucky (30%), and is expected to be completed by January 2027. Fiscal 2024 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,967,143 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This delivery order was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1), (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.)
