Government Description
TR-343 transducer tube assemblies. Includes the new fabrication and refurbishment of both TR-343 and TR-343A (CONNECTORIZED) transducer tube assemblies, which serve as protective housings for the TR-343 transducer used in the an/SQS-53C hull mounted sonar array subsystem and an/SQQ-89(V) Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) system. The contractor is required to fabricate a minimum of twelve (12) new and twelve (12) refurbished tube assemblies as First Article Testing (FAT) units, with testing conducted per specified requirements. Both fabrication and refurbishment tasks support the operational readiness of Navy surface ship undersea warfare systems.
