Government Description
TR-343 sonar transducers and TR-343A connectorized sonar transducers. The TR-343 transducer provides echo-ranging capability for detecting targets for the an/SQS-53C hull mounted sonar array subsystem as part of the an/SQQ-89(V) Acoustic Sonar Weapons (ASW) system. These broadband transducers are mounted in a cylindrical array in the bow of the ship and are required to support naval sonar operations.
