Government Description
SMQ-11 and FMQ-17 technical support is provided under the Environmental Satellite Receiver Processor (ESRP) program. This work includes engineering, production, procurement, in-service engineering agent, and support services for the an/SMQ-11 and an/FMQ-17 systems. Tasks performed encompass specialized engineering support for system functional upgrades, updating system documentation, hardware and software repairs, modernization, sustainment, and technical support for both afloat and ashore Navy meteorological and oceanographic satellite receiver processor systems. The ESRP system ingests, stores, processes, and displays environmental satellite data to support metoc personnel in mission planning and execution.
