Government Description
Ford-class sustainment IDIQ contract (fy 2026-FY 2031) for organization TPM251 provides programmatic, Engineering, Logistics, Software Support Activity, Configuration Management, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), Repairs and Overhauls, Technical Support, And Program Planning Support for The Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) systems aboard ford-class nuclear powered aircraft carriers and the foreign military sales french future carrier. Includes development of pre-engineering change proposals and logistics engineering change proposals for deficiency resolution and corrective action, technical data development, support for product improvements, design recommendations, technical data investigations, and technical publications deficiency reports. Additional tasks involve remote and on-site subject matter expertise, engineering and system software investigations, software changes and testing, maintenance and improvement of EMALS/AAG software labs, updating and maintaining logistics products and supportability analysis, and quality assurance management. The contract also covers support for shipboard activities for fixed wing aircraft recoveries and launches using AAG and EMALS, and the establishment and maintenance of a failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system.

Work will be performed in San Diego, California (98.6%); and various locations within the continental U.S. (1.4%), and ordering is expected to be complete by December 2030.
