Government Description
Cmtc VI IDIQ provides for the operation and management of the Navy mantech composites manufacturing technology center of excellence VI (CMTC COE VI). The center’s mission is to identify, develop, and facilitate the transition of composite, polymeric, and other non-metallic manufacturing technologies to composites fabricators and relevant industrial facilities to reduce the cost and time to build and repair key naval platforms. Includes identifying manufacturing technology issues impacting transition to the fleet, managing projects to address cycle-time and cost reduction, collaborating with the Navy’s acquisition community and industrial partners, and conducting outreach activities such as maintaining a public domain website and providing promotional materials for exhibits and conferences.

Advanced Technology International, Summerville, South Carolina, is awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Composites Manufacturing Technology Center of Excellence VI. This contract provides for the operation and management of the Composites Manufacturing Technology Center of Excellence (the Center) in its mission to identify, develop, and facilitate the transition of composite, polymeric, and other non-metallic manufacturing technologies to composites fabricators and other relevant industrial facilities to reduce the cost and time to build and repair key naval platforms. In addition to accomplishing the Center’s core mission, the contractor shall manage, operate, sustain and enhance the Center’s ability to function as an Office of Naval Research (ONR) ManTech Center of Excellence. Work will be performed in Summerville, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed in June 2036. The total cumulative value of this contract is $349,000,000. Two task orders will be awarded after release of the contract. The first and second task orders will be funded with an initial obligation of $375,000 and $310,000, respectively, from fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds. These funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under (N0001425R7004). Two proposals were received in response to the solicitation. ONR, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N0001426D7001).
